We have written two articles introducing the ideas of adductive analysis. The third article reviews some of the weaknesses of competing approaches. This article has the distinction that one of the (former) editors of that journal twice "misplaced" the manuscript and that it was reviewed by an unprecedented six reviewers. We like to think we were onto something.
